We finally got grass! We moved into our apartment in August, and it only had dirt in the backyard. The owner wanted to put rocks in, but I requested sod instead. He agreed but never installed it. We waited and waited, and finally, this month, we decided to purchase it ourselves. Now we have grass! It’s a small thing, but it’s so nice to have some green.
On November 8th, my youngest brother Ezekiel got married! We traveled to Tucumán for the wedding, and it was a blessing to have the entire family together again. After the wedding, we had the privilege of hosting my parents, who visited from Tucumán, and my brother Samuel and his family, who came to visit us in Posadas from the US.
My father Brian, Samuel, and Jonathan helped build a platform for the church while they were here. I really appreciate their willingness to help. Samuel is very skilled in carpentry and construction. He designed the stage, and it turned out very nice and solid. We are looking forward to getting carpet for it soon.
Melani had her baby shower on the 29th. We are praying for a smooth delivery and healthy baby. Due date mid December!
God provided an AC for our church! Thank you to those who gave and prayed for this provision! Church attendance has remained steady, and we’ve had visitors most weekends—praise the Lord! We continue to prepare our discipleship material, though we haven’t made much progress this month due to all the activities. The faithful church members are taking weekly classes that we are giving in their homes to help them grow spiritually and in their Bible knowledge. This has been a great blessing for the church. Our desire is to help the new converts grow with a solid foundation and multiply as quickly as possible.
This month, after much prayer and in desperate need of more laborers, I hired Sebastián part-time. He’s a member of the church who is currently doing various tasks for us, like cleaning, painting, and installing security cameras. However, I am training him to become our full-time video editor and social media manager. He has been such a blessing, and it’s a privilege to help him grow in Christ.
For His Service,
Benjamin and Bernice George
