Benjamin was born into the Brian George family. He grew up loving the Lord's work and enjoyed spending time with his dad on the field. Benjamin learned many things as he served in his dad's ministry. At 10, he started to run the church sound system. He also participated in many things in the church, like visiting, bus ministry, and church cleaning crew, and participated in starting new churches. At 15, God got ahold of his heart, and he surrendered to full-time service. He then enrolled in Beth-el Baptist Seminary. After three years of studying there, he moved to the USA to further his studies at Providence Baptist College. Owning his own company had been one of his dreams since he was a teenager. After leaving Providence, Benjamin returned to his home church in Washington, Iowa, and started a Landscape company called TopBlades. In January 2020, God brought Bernice Contreras into his life, providing one of the last building blocks for him to get to the field. They got married on October 31st, 2020.

Bernice Contreras

Born March 17th, 1992

Berenice was born into a Christian family. Her family attended Peniel Baptist Church in Iquique Chile, where she received Christ as her savior at 7 years of age.

Her Family moved to Tucuman Argentina and joined Beth-el Baptist Church in 2008. Here she grew closer to God and got involved in several different ministries of the church. In 2012 Berenice graduated from Beth-el Baptist Seminary and then continued to seek God's will in her life. She studied nursing and in 2020 graduated as a Critical Care RN. In January of 2020, God brought Benjamin George into her life. This was an answer to prayer as she always had a heart to serve God.

God has used Pastor Owens greatly over the years. Beth-el Baptist has helped start over 14 churches all over northwestern Argentina. Today it is a vibrant church that is actively reaching the city of Tucuman with the gospel. Also, two of pastor Owens's children are in full-time service today. David Owens has returned to Cordoba, Argentina, and started a church, while Joshua Owens is currently raising support to return to Argentina. Benjamin and Berenice had the great privilege to grow up in this church and study in its Bible College.

Our Plan

Raise Support - Move To Posadas - Win Souls - Plant Church

We count it a privilege to serve God in a full-time capacity reaching the Argentine People. God has changed our plans and made it clear that he wants us to serve in Tucuman, Argentina, for a time before going to Posadas. Because of Covid, Bernice could not get a visa to the USA till April 2021. We carefully followed God's leading and our pastor's advice in this situation to stay in Tucuman till we could get back to the USA to continue our deputation. Because of God's unique preparation, we served full-time at the Bethel Baptist Church.

Praise be to God we are now on the field in Posadas Misiones! In November we wrapped up deputation with 90% of our support and headed to Argentina.

Pastor Joseph Brown

Dear Pastor Friend,

It has been a thrill to have Benjamin George as a member of our church here at Marion Avenue Baptist. He has been a blessing to me.

Benjamin’s family has faithfully served as missionaries in Argentina for many decades. Ben grew up on the mission field in Argentina. This is his first language and culture. Benjamin is planning to be married in the fall of 2020. After marriage, he and his new wife will be moving to a city in Argentina where he will begin the groundwork to plant a church and reach the needy people with the Gospel.

Benjamin has counseled me concerning this leading of God in his life. We look forward to supporting him and his new wife in this new ministry. Would you consider doing the same?

I would love to answer any questions you may have.

Sincerely yours,

Pastor Joseph Brown

Missionary Brian George

Dear friends and pastors,

Let me highly recommend to you and your church my son, Benjamin George.
He grew up in Argentina since he was two years old. Benjamin always had a good submissive spirit. He was a tremendous help. He worked as our church soundman since he was ten years old. Also, he served on our church bus routes and led people to the Lord. He has helped me start churches.

When Benjamin was a young man, he started a lawn care business here in Argentina to support himself. Eventually, he went to Bible college in the USA to further his training. Two years ago, he started his own company called TopBlades Landscaping, which does first-class work. His business grew very rapidly so he could support himself as well as take missions trips to Tanzania, Africa; the Amazon River of Peru; and the desert of Salta, Argentina. He has always had a heart for missions.

The time has come for Benjamin to leave his successful business and raise support in order to serve the Lord full-time in Argentina. His desire is to return to Argentina to do the work of church planting. We would like for you to partner with Benjamin to reach Argentina for Christ.

Here to serve, For souls,

Brian Roy George
In Argentina since 1996

Missionary Larry Owens

I have known Benjamin for 17 years as he grew up in our church here in Tucuman, Argentina. He comes from an excellent family and has a wonderful upbringing. Benjamin is a fine young man and has the vision to do great work for the Lord in Argentina. I have seen him grow and mature in the Lord, and it is a great joy to me that he has married a fine young lady from our church.

I recommend Benjamin and believe it will be a good investment for your church. We are sponsoring him from our church, and we thank you for your help for him and his ministry.

Pastor Jose Mendez

For me, it is a joy and an answer to prayer to hear of workers being called to the ministry of reaching others. It is a joy to know that he is our Brother and friend Benjamin George. I can bear witness to our Brother Benjamin of his desire to see more souls come to the feet of Christ. Two years ago, Brother Benjamin was by my side to support me and help me evangelize to start the first Quad Cities Baptist Church in Moline, IL. He came out next to me from Marion Avenue Baptist Church. He remained faithful with me until the work had been established.

What has impacted my life of Brother Benjamin in the time that I know him and that we were together at the beginning of the work is that Brother Benjamin does not care where he has to spend the night, how much road he has to travel, or if there is or is not to eat, or if they are going to reward him or, to recognize him for what he does. I do know that he cares, is helping others and that people hear the gospel.

I know God will use him extensively in his calling and bless many more with the gospel. Therefore I recommend Brother Benjamin for the missionary work, and we will support him as his mission.

Our Beliefs

Introduction

We live in a world that is in desperate need of a Savior and want to make a lasting difference in the lives of as many people as possible in Argentina. We believe spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples fulfills the great commission and it will be our primary focus. Our mission is to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Christ. That's how we can make a difference, and it's the driving force behind everything we do.

We believe in operating our ministry as Jesus did with a heart for the lost and broken. We believe in being biblical in all beliefs and will not take a firm stand on any religious belief based on tradition or other men's opinions. In areas that Scripture is clear, we will hold firm to it as God and His Word never changes. In matters where Scripture is silent, believers should seek to be led by God because it is to Him alone he or she is ultimately responsible to. We believe that a Christian should seek to please God above all and that Holiness is personal, not institutional. We believe that every man exists to please God and that to please Him, he should strive to live a Holy life by faith. We believe that every child of God is lead by the Holy Spirit and should seek to live a life that pleases God. God's children should live to be light in this dark world to draw others to Jesus Christ. Every Christian has a responsibility to their local church and should first seek to serve God thru their church.

Doctrine

Biblical Authority: The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. The Bible is inspired by God and bears the absolute authority of God Himself. We use the KJV.

Autonomy of the Local Church: The local church is an independent body accountable to the Lord Jesus Christ. The church is autonomous or self-governing. No religious hierarchy outside the local church may dictate a church's beliefs or practices.

Priesthood of the Believer: Every believer is a priest of God and may enter into His presence in prayer directly through our Great High Priest, Jesus Christ. No other mediator is needed between God and man.

Two Ordinances: The local church should practice the ordinance of baptism and the ordinance of the Lord's Supper (also called communion). These ordinances have no part in salvation and only serve as pictures of what Christ did for us.

Individual Soul Liberty: Every person has the liberty to choose what he believes is right in the religious realm. However, this does not exempt one from responsibility to the Word of God or from accountability to God Himself.

Saved, Baptized Church Membership: Every church member must be saved by believing in the Lord Jesus Christ and have publicly proclaimed their faith through believer's baptism.

Two Offices: We believe there are two offices in the church, Pastor and Deacon.

Separation of Church and State: God has established both government and the church. They fulfill two separate roles in

society. The church should not control the government, and likewise, the government should not control the church.
