2024 Recap

2024 Was such a blessed year! On December 31st, Bernice and I reflected on everything that happened, and it is amazing to see all that God did!

January: Worked on the Bethel Baptist College room and helped with the church camp.

February: Celebrated Jonathan’s birthday, attended a youth conference at Bethel Baptist, finished the college room, and moved to Posadas!

March: Saw our first profession of faith, celebrated Bernice’s birthday, launched social media for Victory Baptist, had family visit, and started preaching online.

April: Designed the church tract, worked hard at growing our social media presence, and began helping a local church with one of their outreach ministries.

May: Saw our first converts from social media efforts and continued to see growth in that area; participated in an ordination service with another missionary.

June: Got to know another Baptist church in town, helped Pablo move to Posadas, and began searching for a place to hold meetings.

July: Argentina won the American Cup, Pablo’s family visited, and we continued preparing for the church launch.

August: Rented a meeting location and apartments, moved both families, and prepared for the church launch.

September: Launched Victory Baptist Church! Attended a pastors’ conference in Tucumán, had our first baptisms, hosted a visiting pastor from Chile, and helped another local church with a remote outreach.

October: Took an anniversary trip, held the first wedding at Victory Baptist, hosted evangelist James Belisle from the U.S., and had visitors every week.

November: My brother Ezekiel got married, installed the air conditioning, my brother visited from the U.S., my parents visited from Tucumán, built the platform, searched for a larger place to rent, and hired Seba, a young man in the church, as a part-time worker.

December: Took the men of the church to a “Fires of Evangelism” conference 14 hours away, Jasmin was born, Pablo and Melani’s families visited, held our first church door-to-door outreach, went fishing with the church men, and—on a fun note—my grass is looking great!

That was a very brief overview of our 2024—it was an incredibly busy year, and much happened! Since the church started on September 1st, God has brought over 100 visitors and given us a steady attendance of 25–30 in our Sunday services, with first-time visitors almost every weekend! Our Saturday Bible study began with 9 people and has grown to a steady group of 16–20.

We have seen over 15 professions of faith, 4 baptisms, and 1 wedding during this time. God has blessed us with 6 faithful families and several individuals who are actively involved. There are a few more families who may be joining soon! Bernice and I are also currently leading personal discipleship classes with 5 couples and 2 individuals. It is such a pleasure to serve God!

Thank you for your investment in prayer and finances to make all of this possible. We could not have seen these things happen without your partnership!

Looking ahead to 2025, we are excited and expectant to see God do even greater things through Victory Baptist Church—and you have the opportunity to be part of what God is doing here!

2025 Vision

• Move to a larger location.

• Grow to 100 faithful members with Sunday service averages over 150.

• Start a youth group.

• Start a bus route.

• Reach 1,000 visitors over the course of the year.

• Buy a church bus.

• Hold our first evangelistic event with 2,000 in attendance.

• Grow our church social media to 5,000 local followers (currently at 876).

• Purchase an FM radio station.

• Acquire land for the church (37+ acres).

Let’s trust God together for great things this year!

For His Glory,

Benjamin and Bernice George
