A Step of Faith – Selling Our Vehicle to Purchase Property
This year seems to be flying by—it’s hard to believe that four months have already passed! It has been exciting to witness what God has done in these early months of 2025, and we look forward with great anticipation to what He will continue to do in the months ahead.
Last month, we made the decision to sell our vehicle in order to purchase a piece of property for our family. By God’s grace, we were able to acquire approximately 0.4 acres of land just outside of town for half the going market price.
Lord willing, we plan to build simple staff housing on the property as soon as possible to reduce rental costs, which continue to rise. Currently, we rent four one-bedroom apartments that house our family, Pablo’s family, and visiting guests—which are frequent—and soon, Analia, who will be joining the church staff full-time later this month. I am now researching options and pricing to build two small homes of less than 500 square feet each, which would allow us to relocate and be better prepared for the ministry needs ahead.
Land for Church Activities Provided
An unexpected blessing came through a conversation with the previous owner of the property we purchased. He is a Jewish Christian and was thrilled to learn that another believer would be living on the land. I shared our vision and mentioned our desire to eventually hold church activities on the property, since we currently don’t have any space where we rent to do so. To my surprise, he told me that he still owns a large section of land—about 30 acres—located directly behind our lot, and generously offered to let the church use it for any activities we need, free of charge, as long as we maintain the grass.
It’s truly amazing to see God’s hand of provision! Now, we need to find someone to mow it. Ideally, we would love to acquire a small tractor in the near future to manage the maintenance more effectively. Please pray with us for this need.
Expanding Our Media Ministry
Another highlight from last month was building a small media booth for the church along with seeing Gods provision for some new speakers for the church. The sound is a lot better now and this dedicated space houses our sound and video equipment and doubles as an office during the week. As our church continues to grow, we are putting more emphasis on improving the quality of our services both in person and online. I’ve asked James, one of the men in our church, to oversee this ministry area, and he has already been doing a great job organizing and helping others serve more effectively. We believe our church has the potential to be a strong voice online for the gospel and sound doctrine, and we are doing our best to prepare and implement the right tools to expand that reach.
