Building a Home — A Foundation for Long-Term Ministry

Dear friends,
I rarely write asking for help with anything personal. But this week, God opened a door, and I want to share a praise — and an honest need.
We were able to purchase a house — right in front of the 32 acres God has loaned to our church for the camp we are beginning to develop. The purchase itself was the result of a year of prayer, faithful work, and patient negotiation with our neighbor, who lowered the price more than once before the door finally opened. The papers are now signed in our name.
But the house is a shell — 775 sq ft of brick walls with no kitchen, no proper bathroom, no proper electrical or plumbing. Our lease ends at the end of July. About $35,000 is needed before August to complete the essential work that will make the house livable, so our family can move in rather than renew the rental. The full project — finishing and expanding the home, plus a dependable family vehicle — comes to $109,000 over the months ahead.
We have planted our lives in Argentina for the long haul — not for a season, but for life. A finished home and a dependable vehicle are the foundation that lets our family give the next decades to the gospel work here.
