May Report

Dear Friends and Partners,

Thank you for your faithful prayer and giving. It is our joy to serve here in Posadas, and we could not do what we do without you. Our family is doing well. This cold, damp season has brought the usual round of colds and coughs through the house, but nothing serious, and we are grateful.

This month has been exciting. Our Saturday bus route is now bringing 35–40 people to church each week — and here that means whole families and teens, mostly folks who could never afford to come on their own. A faithful core keeps growing, and our 14-passenger van is regularly carrying 20–30 from this route alone. We are praying God would provide a bus soon so we can reach even more.

The church itself continues to grow. Three new families are joining, and first-time visitors come nearly every week — so much so that we have actually paused our online and door-to-door outreach simply because our building and transportation are full. It is a wonderful problem, and it makes me long to do far more than our current space allows.

We are praying earnestly about a larger building three blocks away — much bigger, for close to what we pay now. Please pray that God makes His will unmistakable.

I also want to share an answered prayer — and a real praise. For the past while we have been renting a small one-bedroom apartment to save toward a place of our own, but with our family growing and the children needing more room, we prayed for God to open the way to a home. This past week He did: we purchased a house, right beside the 32 acres God has loaned to the church for the camp we are developing! It is, however, only a bare shell, and our lease on our current place ends at the end of July. Turning it into a livable home is a significant undertaking, and I have enclosed a separate note explaining that need for any who would like to be part of it.

It would be our joy to have you visit and see firsthand what God is doing here. Thank you for standing with us.

For Christ’s Glory,

Benjamin & Berenice George
