September Update

September 1st marked our one-year anniversary! What a blessing it was. We held our normal Sunday morning service, then enjoyed a delicious Argentine steak meal together. Afterward, we shared a memory video and heard testimonies from many of our members about how God has changed their lives since joining the church. I can’t share every detail, but I can say this: God is working, lives are being transformed, and a light is shining in our city.
This month we saw God’s provision to purchase a van for the church. Thank you to all who prayed and gave so generously to make this a reality! While the funds were raised, getting the money into Argentina has been more difficult than expected. An account we opened for international transfers was shut down suddenly, and other options have fallen through. Right now, we’re only able to transfer a limited amount monthly. Lord willing, we’ll have all the funds here within six months and be able to purchase the van. It’s been a bit frustrating, but we’re reminded that this is God’s work, and He has a purpose even in the delays. We trust Him.
Another major highlight this month was our trip to the Fires of Evangelism conference in Tucumán. Twenty-four of us traveled 700 miles in five cars, including three families and five other adults from our church (not counting our family and Pablo’s). The trip was a joy and a blessing. During the conference, five from our church surrendered to full-time Christian service! Everyone came back fired up to reach more people for Christ. In the coming weeks, we’ll be teaching on soulwinning, knocking more doors, and preparing for a large evangelistic outreach in November.
Please pray for the upcoming campaign in November, when we’ll host 34 guests from the USA and a team from another Argentine church. Together, we’ll be distributing thousands of gospel tracts and hosting an open-air event where we pray hundreds will hear the Gospel.
Thank you for praying, giving, and standing with us. God is building His church in Posadas, and we are honored to serve Him here.
For His glory,
Benjamin & Bernice George
