March Report

Our family is doing well, thank the Lord. We were sick the first few weeks, but we are now all back to normal. It has been a joy to watch Jonathan and Shalem continue to grow. Jonathan is now carrying on conversations. Shalem is a joy to spend time with also. This month we also got baby chickens, and we are looking forward to fresh eggs in a few months!

Last month I also had the privilege of receiving my firearm permit here in Argentina—something I have desired since I was a teenager. The process is quite extensive, requiring a multi-session course with range qualification, along with medical, psychological, and background checks just to obtain the permit. After that, each firearm requires individual authorization, and ownership is limited to nine guns. Firearms here cost three to five times more than in the USA, which makes acquiring them more restrictive. I’m thankful the Lord allowed this to finally happen.

Pablo and I also had the opportunity to complete our CDL with passenger endorsement, which was a big step forward for the ministry. Because vehicles with more than eight seats are considered commercial, this license is required to operate our church van. The training included a full week of classes, simulator driving, and even operating a semi-truck, along with extensive medical and psychological testing. By God’s grace, we were able to obtain one of the highest license categories available, allowing us to drive buses of any size as well as trucks and semis (except hazardous materials). We are preparing now for what we believe God will provide in the future, trusting Him for expanded transportation and outreach.

God has allowed our church to use 32 acres of land for Christian camps and church-wide activities outside of town, with the condition that we maintain it. Please pray for wisdom as I seek the Lord on how to move forward. My desire is to host our first camps there in 2027. More details are available on our donation page: https://www.hopeforargentina.com/donate

We also had the opportunity to look at a large facility nearby that could serve as a future location for the church. It is in a great location here close the church and would give us the space needed to continue growing. You can view pictures on our blog here: https://www.hopeforargentina.com/blog. We are praying for God’s clear direction and provision. I would prefer not to rent, but we are open to whatever He leads us to do.

Thank you for your faithful prayers!

For Christ’s Glory,

Benjamin & Berenice George
