July Update

🚐 A VAN TO MOVE THE MISSION FORWARD

God is doing a powerful work in Posadas—and transportation has become a critical need. We are praying for a 14-passenger Toyota Hiace van to bring

families and individuals to church services, discipleship gatherings, and church trips. Many people have no vehicle and no way to attend unless we bring

them. The van will cost $56,000 USD, and our goal is to meet this need by the end of August, just in time for spring outreach and an upcoming Fires of

Evangelism conference in September, 700 miles away—where 27 of our members hope to attend, but around half don’t have transportation. This van would

open many doors for ministry and be an incredible tool for both the church and reaching the lost.

šŸ“ˆ MINISTRY UPDATE

Even during the slow season, God continues to bless. Sunday mornings average 35, and Saturday Bible studies 20. Our membership is now 40 and growing

spiritually. Though we are only 10 months old, Iglesia Bautista Victoria has a strong core, four active staff, and growing spiritual momentum. God is building in

months what often takes years. One example of this growth is AndrƩs, who has been attending with his daughters and their mother, Micaela. Two weeks ago

after church, he told me they’ve been reading Scripture, attending faithfully, and trying to do what pleases God—but the Holy Spirit hasn’t given them peace

because they’re not married. Then he said, ā€œWe’re getting married! We want to please God with our lives.ā€ What joy it brings to see God at work! I never said

a word about their situation—this was all God. So, we’ll be having a wedding soon, and your investment has helped make this possible.

šŸ› URGENT BUILDING NEED

PRAY FOR A MIRACLE

Our current space is nearly full. It seats 40 comfortably (max 60), and some Sundays are already tight. We have no room for growth, no space for teens, and

only a small area for children. We can’t host big days or outreach events and are very limited here—and all of this without hardly any outreach efforts yet.

There is a deep thirst for truth in this city, and we long to bring the light of Christ to more people.

This week, the men of the church and I visited a facility that could serve us for many years to come. It’s a 1,600m² warehouse with office space (over 17,200

ft²), just a few blocks away, located on a main avenue next to a major supermarket. It has rooms that could be used for every age group, and the open space

in the back would make a great auditorium seating 800 (expandable to 1,500). It also has on-site parking and a field for youth and children’s activities. The

rent is $6,000/month. We are praying for a miracle—either that the owner would lower the rent to $2,000–3,000/month, or that donors would commit to cover

$3,000–4,000/month. With this space, we expect to exceed 100 in attendance by the end of summer, and double again next year, along with the ability to

host a large evangelistic event this November where we are praying for 2,000 in attendance. These are conservative projections—with more space and

intentional outreach, we believe God will do even more.

ā¤ A PERSONAL NOTE

Many of you have prayed for my father—thank you. He is recovering very well by God’s grace. A special thank-you to the Sarver family and Margret Knight

for your incredible love and generosity. You have been a great encouragement to our family.

We know these are big goals—a van, a building, a rapidly growing church. But we serve a big God. As third-generation missionaries, we’ve been equipped

and called for this moment. We’re not perfect, but we’ve seen what God can do—and we believe He is opening the door for a widespread gospel impact.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer and giving. Let’s expect great things from God—and attempt great things for Him.

For His glory,

Benjamin & Bernice George

P.S. We’ll be announcing our daughter’s birth in the coming days! Stay tuned!
