December Update

This month we were blessed to see several professions of faith and two baptisms. God has also given us a steady and growing attendance.

On December 20th, our church held its yearly garage sale, where we encourage church members to bring items they no longer use or need. These items were sold for very low prices compared to their value, and all the funds collected were used to help a missionary. This year we decided to donate the funds to a pastor in another province who did not have air conditioning in his home. God allowed us to collect $1,179 from the items sold, which enabled him to purchase an air conditioner. Praise the Lord!

God also provided a church van thanks to your prayers and donations! On December 21st, after the service, I surprised the church by presenting the van. It was a very special moment because we had been praying for this for a long time, and God answered our prayers. The funds had been donated months before, but we faced challenges both in getting the money into the country and in finding the right vehicle. God provided a new Toyota Hiace Commuter 14-passenger van. It is a wonderful vehicle—very smooth to drive and equipped with an automatic transmission. I am so thankful for what God has done and excited for what He will continue to do.

Every week the van is being used for our bus route, and we really need a bus. Right now we are running the van and two cars to pick up more than 30 people from one neighborhood, and then the van goes out again to pick up nine more. My prayer is that God will provide a bus soon. Thank you so much to everyone who gave and prayed for this van!

For Christmas and New Year’s, my wife and I traveled to Tucumán to be with her parents. We had a wonderful time, and I also had the privilege of preaching at Bethel Baptist Church while we were there. We are now looking forward with great expectation to what God will do in 2026.

For His glory,

Benjamin & Bernice George
