Family need

Finishing our family’s home

We bought a small brick house right in front of the 32 acres the church uses for camps. It was only a shell. Step by step, and paying as we go, we are making it a home.

The story

How it started, and where we are now

  1. Before

We rented a small one-bedroom apartment, saving toward a place of our own.

  2. May 2026

After a year of prayer and patient negotiation with our neighbor, who lowered the price more than once, we bought the house. The papers are in our name.

  3. The house

About 775 square feet (6 × 12 meters) of brick walls, with no kitchen, no proper bathroom, and no proper electrical or plumbing.

  4. August 2026

We had to leave where we were staying, with nowhere else to go, so we moved into the house long before it was ready.

  5. Today

Our family lives in the living, dining, and kitchen space. The bare floor keeps the air dusty, and the children have been sick on and off since we moved.

Loans here carry very high interest, so we pay for almost everything in cash, one step at a time. We are not asking anyone to give beyond what God leads. We share these numbers so you can pray specifically and see exactly where each gift goes.

  • Cleanup and repair

The need

What’s still needed

Here is what remains, in order of urgency. Each step is something you can give toward.

Next three steps

$18,900

Floor

$4,350

Tile over the slab in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. This is the space we live in most, and the bare floor is the main source of the dust that keeps making the children sick.

Water system

$5,650

A storage tank, pump, and filtration so the family has clean, reliable water.

Kitchen

$8,900

Counters, cabinets, sink, and appliances for a working kitchen.

After that

about $70,100

Structure, roof, door, and windows

about $30,100

Reinforce the structure with concrete columns, install a door and four windows, and replace the roof and ceiling. The current roof was not built correctly and needs to be replaced to proper standards.

The addition

about $40,000

Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so our family is no longer living in the living room and dining room.
